Connect One’s DualCOre II-EVB-PIC-2128 evaluation board enables M2M profressionals to realize an almost immediate IP solution for many M2M applciations which utilize Microchip's PIC product line. It is based on Microchip’s PIC24FJ64GA006 host CPU and Connect One’s iChip CO2128 Ethernet LAN controller.
II-EVB-PIC-2128 provides the networking via the CO2128 which features include the ability to stream data over TCP or UDP sockets (up to 10 simultaneous active sockets are available) and manage two listening sockets. A secure socket (SSL3/TLS1) is fully supported. Additional features include the ability to send and receive emails with or without attachments, a built-in web server with two internal websites, one for remote control and management of the II-EVB-PIC-2128 and the other for the device; HTTP, FTP, and TELNET clients;
The detailed reference design is targeted to those looking to develop and manage an open and flexible internet enabled application.
