Serial to IP mode allows any kind of serial based device to enjoy immediate IP connectivity, over LAN, WiFi, Dialup or cellular. There is no need for the development of any drivers or protocols. Any microcontroller with an available UART can be used to connect the embedded device to an IP network.

Serial to IP mode supports speeds of up to 3Mbps between the host microcontroller and the relevant Connect One solution. The connection is realized using TTL levels, as can be seen below:
