In Internet Controller mode, the iChip is normally programmed and controlled by an external Host processor, which runs the associated embedded application. The hardware interface is based on a serial interface (UART or USB) and the API consist of an extension to the AT command set (AT+i protocol). All Internet activity is governed and controlled with AT+i commands.
